Exhibition brochure

From 9 October 2018 to 20 October 2019 the Museum of Natural History in Berlin hosted an exhibition aimed at showing environmental challenges of our contemporary lifestyle, as well as what the Joint Research Centre is doing to tackle them.

The exhibition mixed stunning aerial pictures of natural disasters by New-York based photographer J Henry Fair and scientific explanations by our researchers.

Based on the visual identity provided by the Museum, I designed the brochure gathering all content of the exhibition. The layout is organised in a way to display the pictures in a large portion of the spread, with space for the author's view on its work and for an overall introduction to the topic. In the following spread, two horizontal areas highlight: on top, the challenges related to the topic; on the bottom, an overview of the European Union initiatives to tackle them and demonstration on how the JRC is supporting the EU work with science. Finally, an area on the top right corner provides the reader with tips on how to reduce one's own environmental footprint by making simple daily choices.
